Children’s Ministry

childrensMinistry
WHBC is committed to ministering to children. Our goal is to provide quality child care and age-appropriate teaching for children while parents are in worship, ABFs, or serving. Our staff of concerned and caring teachers provide Bible lessons that are relevant to the lives of the students. Nursery care and children’s programs are available at regular services.

AWANA Clubs
A new UPDATED AWANA Club begins at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for children ages three through 6th grade. The clubbers experience games, crafts, Scripture memory, and Bible lessons – all designed to reach them for Christ and train them to serve Him. AWANA combines memorization and teaching of God’s Word with healthy competitive games to minister to children. The clubs operate September through May.

Special Programs and Activities

Additional programs complement the standing calendar of opportunities. Summer Camps, Vacation Bible School, seasonal choirs, etc., give a broad variety of experience in ministry.
